SAM KEMPER

Fitness Trainer and Nutrition Coach

Fitness has always been my foundation.

I was a competitive young runner until an ACL injury at 12 temporarily sidelined me. That early setback reshaped my mindset - teaching me the value of smart pacing, recovery, and resilience. I returned stronger than ever, running personal bests for the 5-mile (34:35), 5K (17:46), 1-mile (4:57), and 800m (2:09) all during High School.

While running remains a passion, scoliosis and some recurring injuries led me towards strength training. I became a Certified Personal Trainer at 19, which helped guide my focus to balance, lifting, and power development. Then COVID disrupted my college plans, and training quickly became my career. Since 2020, I’ve earned additional credentials (NC, VC, SNC, PES3) and became a Licensed Massage Therapist.

I’ve worked as a full-time trainer with American University, Sport & Health, and Onelife Fitness in Washington, DC - experiences that have deepened my commitment to this field. Now, I’m pursuing Applied Exercise Science & Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Sydney!

I continue to train clients both in-person and virtually. If you're interested in working together, feel free to reach out - I'll get back to you quickly. All the best - Sam
